Apple Juice for German Youth

Hi Ali,

today we witnessed a huge demonstration here in Hamburg (yes, the picture above has been taken in Berlin, but the video further down is from Hamburg). The NPD, an ultra right wing party with lots of Nazis amongst their supporters, announced to march through Barmbek, so thousands of people gathered together to do their own demonstration against the Nazis. Days before that all the shops here showed their support for the Anti-Nazi demonstration by displaying posters and offering stickers and flyers to the customers.

Just ahead of the big move there was a little group ("Front of German Apples") taking the piss out of the Nazis by dressing themselves like them but replacing the swastika symbols on the flags and the armbands with an apple and shouting: "Was gibt der deutschen Jugend Kraft? Apfelsaft, Apfelsaft!" Which can be roughly translated with: "What gives power to the German youth? Apple juice, apple juice!"

We didn't actually spot any Nazis so maybe they decided to take an alternative route through Hamburg.
